Scott From Classic Car Studio Says These Are Five Must Have Metal Shaping Tools For Beginning Fabricators

Beginning fabricators and metal shapers often get carried away wondering what tools and equipment they need to get started, and because there are so many awesome tools and machines available it is sometimes overwhelming and makes you feel like you have to spend big money just to start shaping metal. But that’s not the case, and for a couple of reasons.

First off, even if you decide you need bigger pieces of equipment, like a brake or an English wheel, you can get functional examples for reasonable money. Second, small hand and shop tools can be extremely effective ways to shape sheet metal and help you become an effective fabricator which is why this list from Scott at the Classic Car Studio is really interesting.

I have to admit, there are a couple of tools on his list that I might not have included in a Top Five, but that make sense when you think about it.

Check it out and let us know what you think, and if you think there are some others that should have made the Top Five.
